Being CEO Of Your Life

The Chief Executive Officer is the highest ranking executive in a company whose main responsibilities involve developing and implementing high level- strategies, making major decisions, managing the overall operations and resources of a company, and acting as the main point of communication between the board of director and the corporate operations. This means you are expected to give direction and leadership toward the achievement of your organization’s philosophy, mission, strategy, and the annual goals and objectives.

So, are you up to the job? Is there a CEO in you or is the position still vacant? Are you clear on what your goals and objectives are in your life’s business? If you don’t have them, start creating them immediately. You were appointed CEO the moment you stepped into the working world.

Imagine for a moment that your life is a business; a privately-owned company of which YOU are CEO. How would you characterize this company? Is it struggling? Getting killed by the competition? Hurt by the sluggish economy? Actively searching for investors or large interests who might take it under their protective wing?

Or is it a staggering success; growing, adapting, and profiting more with each passing year?

If you’re not looking at your life from this perspective – you should be. You ARE the CEO of your own life. You are completely responsible for the level of success that you experience — personally and professionally. You are equally responsible for the lack thereof. Your success will be defined by the vision you create and the choices that you make to support it.

You have to develop leadership within you. If you start to think like a leader, then you would automatically feel that you have control over things and have the authority to start making changes. In the Business of Life, thoughts become feelings which in turn can translate into action when you adopt the mentality of running your life as if it is a business! And action means better results.  So you can change your life and make it better. Don’t leave things to fate.

Today I’m offering you a 7 day free tutorial with magnetic sponsoring: This system  is a dynamic system when you are looking for direction and leadership. Take advantage today and get started being CEO of your life.

Conquer Yourself with Self Discipline

I would say that we are all trying to improve ourselves in some kind of way. But what really gets in our way of achieving? One main ingredient to consider is discipline or even more Self- discipline. What is Self- discipline? Wikipedia answer is the ability to motivate oneself in spite of a negative emotional state or just to simplify that a little lets say the ability to get yourself to take action regardless of your emotional state. Then my definition is,  tell yourself what you gone do and don’t let yourself talk back! Self discipline gives you the power to stick to your decisions and follow them through, without changing your mind, and is therefore one of the important requirements for achieving goals

Contrary to what some may believe, Self-Discipline is not a severe and limited behavior or a restrictive lifestyle by far. Although it’s an important ingredient for success, any form of success that is. Its expresses itself as perseverance, the ability not to give up despite failure and setbacks, as self control, and as the ability to resist temptations and distractions that tend to stand in the way of attaining aims and goals. In fact, it is one of the most important pillars of real and stable success.

The power of self-discipline allows you to choose, over actions, thoughts and behavior, which lead to improvement and success. Self-discipline can also empower you to overcome any addiction or lose any amount of weight. It can wipe out procrastination or lack in ones life.

Develop Some Muscle

The Analogy I can best explain on how to build self-discipline is to think of it as a muscle. The more you train it, the stronger you become. The less you train it, the weaker you become. Just as everyone has different muscular strength, we all possess different levels of self-discipline. Everyone has some — if you can hold your breath a few seconds, you have some self-discipline. But not everyone has developed their discipline to the same degree.

Just as it takes muscle to build muscle, it takes self-discipline to build self-discipline. Similarly, the basic method to build self-discipline is to tackle challenges that you can successfully accomplish but which are near your limit. This doesn’t mean trying something and failing at it every day, nor does it mean staying within your comfort zone. You will gain no strength trying to lift a weight that you cannot budge, nor will you gain strength lifting weights that are too light for you. You must start with weights/challenges that are within your current ability to lift but which are near your limit.

Progressive training means that once you succeed, you increase the challenge. If you keep working out with the same weights, you won’t get any stronger. Similarly, if you fail to challenge yourself in life, you won’t gain any more self-discipline. There’s no intrinsic benefit in lifting a weight up and down — the benefit comes from the muscle growth. However, when building self-discipline, you also get the benefit of the work you’ve done along the way, so that’s even better. It’s great when your training produces something of value AND makes you stronger.

For years and years I really struggled with what my purpose was. What am I suppose to be doing with my life was the big question. Then afterwards I would have a notion like someone or something was going to announce from some big cloud in the sky Dorsey you are suppose to do …..with your life. By the way year after year went by and that big announcement never came via out the clouds. However I did have my Ah Ha moment, and I’ve come a long way from when I initially had the question.  Funny thing is it had been something I was already doing in life but not at my full potential.

Every person on earth is born with a mission or let’s say talent wrapped up on the inside of them. Some people catch it when they are young and they take it and run with it. The rest of us stand in the middle of the street waiting on the heavens to open up.  Fortunately for some people the heavens do open up.  In my case life purpose was born out of frustration, not truly being happy and able to achieve life in a conventional way I was forced to discover and tap into my talents.

Maybe I can help someone today with this story I once read about  these three little fish and they were in fish school and one day their professor told them about “ water”.  He explained how the water was present at every point in space at the same time. So after school was out the three fish were talking and curious about where the water really was. Now one of the fish totally got it, he knew he was in the water. But the other two was left with much wonder and set out to go find the water. After swimming   the seven seas years later they returned old, decrepit, impoverished and ready to die. They ran into there one school chum , who was looking young and vibrant. He owned a whole string of condominiums in the reef. He had several generations of grand fish. And the two fish asked “How did you find the water?”

It is the same with our purpose, God created everyone with one.  You are no different. It is right inside of you just ready to be pushed out !!!  It’s that thought that keep saying I want to do ….. but never get around to it. It’s that feeling that just overwhelm you when it comes to mind. It’s that simple child hood desire that lay dormant because someone told you, you couldn’t.  It is that extra job you do on the side that every one says you are so good at. It is the great joy you get when watching people do…….. It’s your  baby , discover it, develop it and have it.

Peace and Prosperity,

Set A Schedule, Work Your Schedule

Everyone, I mean every person here on earth has this in common.

We all have 24 hours in day.How is it that some people can get so much accomplished and then some get so little accomplished? I believe it’s a formula you orchestrate to being able to maximize and get the fullness out of each and every day.

My friend had called early this morning and she begin to describe how she felt so much better because she had gotten rid of some clutter in her home (saving this topic for another post). Anyhow she also starting describing how she was still feeling unorganized and how it was late in the morning and the time had gone by so fast and she wasn’t able to get to a couple of task that was important completed.  With her being a realtor and single mom I could quickly identify with what she was going through. I had once experienced that situation myself.

I was privy to having much training on time management skills in the past. But it wasn’t until I was able to watch my broker Mr., Lang in action, when I was able to realize this whole time management thing.  He had successfully mastered the art of effective scheduling. Like clockwork you knew he would be in the office at 10 am and leaving around 7pm. He had strategically allotted for every hour of the day. And I’m proud to say that those techniques rubbed off on me, and for the most part I feel completely lost when I don’t plan ahead.

Scheduling is the process by which you look at the time available to you and plan how you will use it to its fullest. There are several systems made available to us. Choose which calendar system suites you best whether it is a desktop calendar, an offline one hanging on the refrigerator or maybe a smart phone. Just choose the one that is conveniently accessible for regular scheduling. Once you have determined that then at the same time establish a Daily “To-Do List” and you will need to have this even closer to you than the calendar. You can incorporate this system into one, but for me having it divided is simpler.

Every day plan the hour you will work on your List-. It can be at the end of a work day, or right after dinner or even prior to going to bed. Mr. Lang being a broker used his smart phone to complete his daily scheduling. I like using my desktop since I’m at my computer on a regular basis. I have had to print it out on days when I was away from my computer thou. Make sure without fail you get your list written the day prior. Another benefit to doing it this way is you trigger your subconscious-

  1. It cuts down and almost eliminate you forgetting things
  2. It improves your timeliness, knowing ahead of time your entire day.

The 1st thing you want to write down are your appointments, check the calendar for any appointments.  Even thou you want to have a mental note of special appointments prior to the day before. Make sure you allow your scheduling system to alert you in enough time for you to be properly prepared. It’s important to have a “To-Do” list that divides each hour of the day as well.  The 2nd thing you want to write down is your daily routine. Yes your daily routines are especially important because we tend to get relaxed in these familiar areas. Once we allot a time frame to complete these tasks, you will see that you can function even more effectively, perhaps get more done, can better handle unexpected situations or even pressure.  Now work it, work it, work it, work that schedule, As you accomplish each task mark it off do it mark it off, it feels good inside to know you are getting the fullness out of yours days and life.

My daily schedule allows me to passively make money with this new viral blogging system, Check It Out

Internet Marketing, Blogging, and the Working from home experience, I feel is still so unclear in a lot of people minds. You just don’t hear enough regular people saying I made my money off the Internet. We saw and heard people making substantial money in real estate and in stocks for years. But when it came down to work from home, internet marketing or blogging I believe there is a great deal of people that are scratching their heads. Oh yea, well there was the famous “dot com” boom when the Internet was just starting to reach the homes of the average person. If you didn’t plug yourself into the hype, then who would have even connected “dot com” companies, Internet marketing and then Blogging? There are a lot of different emotions in the minds of people I believe because

1. The lack of education – The education is available and it’s everywhere nowadays but that has only become clearer in the 5 last years and then exactly what do you look for.

2. Work from Home- It sounds so glamorous it’s as if someone is going to pay me to work at home. Nope .NADA

3.The ones who tried it didn’t make any money, NO BUSINESS PLAN wasn’t ever established.

As your coach and mentor, I would like to share some basics with you. Internet Marketing, Work From Home, or Blogging in its many terms is a GLOBAL means of marketing products or services. Blogging which is the latest term used to accomplish this task is a top bet for making money. Blogging for dollars can be a very lucrative business if set up correctly. So whatever you have heard or experienced in the past I believe it’s gotten better or let’s say I’m here to help you now. First you would need to set up a plan. Whatever your unique skill or talent, that is what we are going to package and market. Then get a blog set up and this is considered the chief component or as Mike Dillard (one of the industry gurus) calls it the Nerve Center. Once the Blog is set and content is established there would be a daily schedule to build the business. Not to overwhelm you but there are several components that comes along with building this business. I highly recommend everyday to write an article, and read something someone else wrote, plug in and get involved in the industry as a whole, there will be SEO techniques to manage, Email marketing, Social marketing, comments to respond to, not to say the least to be available and ready to help someone that need assistance with your product or service. And what is the saying Rome wasn’t built in a day? As CEO of your blog, it will be up to you to be as effective as possible. In the beginning when the set-up process is going on, you will spend hours and hours customizing the process to your liking. But if you can hold out and sacrifice a date night or two, and probably DVR a season of Greys Anatomy, you are surely in line to accomplish one of life’s greatest accomplishments which is financial and time freedom. It would be my pleasure to assist you with this.

Peace and Prosperity
